I enjoy this blog a lot... At least as long as I'm not thinking about my own mistakes. After all, if it is all too easy to err even in your native language, a foreign language will still remain, well, foreign.

Automotive alternators for GM cars for several years were the same except for the orientation of the mounting bolts. Many of them could be interchanged simply by taking them apart and re-orienting the holes, however unless one was skilled, it was easy to ruin an otherwise good alternator. The suppliers didn't want us doing this and they had tags on them advising us, "do not rotate alternator housings."
One day they showed up with a tag that said, "not to rotate", welcome to offshore suppliers!
