Re: And Samm444, The headlines in today's paper show 81% of
the American people think the country is headed in the WRONG direction. And Samm, pray tell, WHO has been running this country with an iron hand for the past 8 years? Whose policies have brought us to this stage? It appears to me you may be one of the deaf, dumb and blind who are willing to vote more of the same by voting for McCain...

protecting the polar bear will bring attention to global climate change, and help to keep the oil rigs out of the polar ice...

Re: Saul, Bush proved that he and his policies are VERY BAD for

I think people address the least important issues. In today's paper B. Boxer is upset with Kempthorne for not placing the polar bear on the endangered species list. I must say, this is of great national importance at this juncture. NOT!  sam

There is a great divide between what the people want and what they get. Politicians are not to be believed or trusted. Bush proved that!

Dubya proves that idiocy is not only a continuing state but one of
incremental accrual as well.  He's so busy playing BMOC, not realizing that he wasn't even BMOC when he was actually on campus, that he allows his responsibility, that of maintaining the U.S. and its laws, to become more ineffectual by the day.  To say that Dubya has been both derelict and negligent at his post would be to make the understatement of the year.  Thinking?  I don't believe thinking enters into it.  Literally.
