FineYoungSinger,
I think you just lost Justi! I fear there are too many clones of this species within the human race! They never respond to a comment they always retreat to talking point non-sense!

Re: Re: Justi, no offense, but don't you think military news sites might be bia

We do deserve the best possible news available.  I disagree that it's from either defenselink or Task Force Marne, both of which are designed to serve the military, not to offer the best possible news.

Articles about building a school here or restoring a flag there don't constitute real news.  Surf out beyond what the government tells you.  They'll only tell you what they want you to know.

ReGlennb
Do you know how many of them were killed by their own and the supposedly allies of their own?

Re: Not necessarily the news
Halfeleven I lived through Viet Nam, Korean War and World war II. I disagree that anything is needed to have people see reason now! The war is as close to our front door as this election! Think about that. If I see a child going toward danger I will scream until I can reach it. What would you do.

Fine Young Singer, perhaps. However, don't you think the person fighting it is more prone to see it differently. Another thing is that I believe the news is extremely biased on military and political fronts. I think we deserve to get the best possible news not the media creating news. What about do you think so?

Not necessarily the news
For those of us who lived through the Vietnam era, the DoD is not considered a reliable source of information on the conduct of an unpopular war.

Also, shouting headlines make any information you desire to put out suspect, immediately. The truth has no need to shout.

Justi,
Did you know over a million Iraqis have been slaughtered since Bush I? Did you know millions of Iraqis have been displaced by bombs? Did you know three presidents lied, bore false witness, gave false testimony to justify invading a sovereign Nation! How many Iraqis would trade your good news for reality? What about "genocide"? I think a couple trillion dollars could buy a little truth!
