As long as we keep it civil, I will look forwards to seeing what you have to say about my posts.

Myrddin
In my experience, there has yet to ever be a lion, even though the guy will keep on claiming that there is one. Having proof of an actual lion is 100% different from just claiming that here is a lion out there. Most who would claim such a thing have not actually seen it themselves, but have convinced themselves that there is a lion out there because they found an old sign somewhere else that says 'beware of the lions' and have decided that such a thing is proof that here are lions where they are at.

Yes and No
I agree with much you say here. Especially about the method of starting the fire. However, in your first setting I'd like to change the story a little bit. The guy who wants to start the fire has seen a hungry lion for a moment moving towards them through a nearby clearing while the other one was looking elsewhere. When the first guy tells him about the lion he looks in that direction and doesn't see anything, so he assumes that the first guy was mistaken and he doesn't care about starting a fire. The first guy starts his fire while the second one wanders of towards the clearing that to his mind holds no danger. The lion catches him by surprise and he gets eaten while the fire starter remains safe. We can only tell you about what we experience, if you do not heed the warnings that is your problem.

I agree with many of your points.
I am a Mormon and enjo my faith a great deal. One of the things I have learned from my faith is to loving and thoughtful to all others regarless of their circumstances. Everyone will develop a relationship in their own ways with a spirtual being. There is no call for "making fire" the same way.
I will look forward to having more discussions with you in the future.
