Re: Nautikos
Thanks Justi! In the meantime, spring has kinda broken out here as well! The snow is beginning to melt, we'll have a lake of our own soon, although I still have a six-foot-thick glacier at the bottom of the driveway...

I am so sorry. I have little peppers in my garden. You are welcome to come here and fish in our lake. It is a bass fishing haven. It is hundreds of thousands of acres. But you are on your own, I don't like to fish. My daddy made me be silent as could be and I never could manage that and have fun at the same time.

Re:
Thanks for the prayers, Elyse! Maybe they have helped, today is a little better, it's sunny and about 38 degrees, melting the surface a bit and letting the squirrels do some skating on the ice...no crocuses yet, I'm afraid...

oy!!! that is a lot of snow...I feel so badly for y'all that are suffering in that packed ice...beautiful it is but, I do recall days (years) when I lived in Northern Maine --- Naut, Texas is dipped in Spring. There may be some flight savers --- maybe, but gas is outrageous...it's all about what its worth to you...<

> I pray - mercy for you ~ (and look for little crocus heads) ~

Krisles, let me tell you, I can do without walk-shovelling and car scraping, even
if the trees look beatiful...

I'm replying to this from my deck
sitting outside, enjoying the chriping birds and bright morning sun.
I'll box up a bit of the sunshine, along with a fishing rod, and send it your way

Quite different from here! But it isn't brown slush so that is something to be happy about, isn't it?

Beautiful, Nautikos! You will be so glad when everything is green. So will I. Son had his very first daffodil in full bloom today in his yard. He was all excited and took a picture of the poor little lonely thing.

I've been wearing sandals to work! The only snow this year in Dallas happened while I was on my cruise.....I haven't had any snow ice cream in a few years now and I'm craving it....haven't been hit with a snowball......haven't looked out at beautiful trees like that.....wondered what critter made those little tracks.....had to scrape my car, shovel my walk, clean my wet floor, thaw my hands, , wonder if my shoulders were going to ever stop shivering, felt that horrible stinging/burning as my feet warmed back up....hmmmmmm, thanks for the pictures!!!
