Re: Very funny, Sira!
LOL Naut!
I think we'll be using the "park" option next time--especially if we see any familiar looking trucks in line

Re:
LOL sam!
I think it was more stupidity than a sense of invincibility that led the guy up onto his perch! I was certainly glad that Mark was there--he ended up physically shoving the truck down, which was no small feat of strength! I'm not sure there were many others around that would have been able to summon enough force to get the job done!

Re: The actor who played Gomer Pyle was a trained opera singer.
Wow Pat!
I think I'm going to have to check this guy out--sounds like he was pretty talented!
Mark was doing that "Gaw-aw-lee" thing when he was trying to explain the character to me. It was pretty comical
Thanks for reading!

Very funny, Sira!
I'm trying to picture that Pyle-up...
It's the sort of prospect that usually makes me park my car when I end up at a Timmy's...

and I loved Gomer ~ He was sweet, ok, not too bright, but a very gentle guy.

The actor who played Gomer Pyle was a trained opera singer.
He had a beautiful voice. As a character, Gomer was good hearted to a fault, kind and helpful, if dumb as a post. His signature word was "Gaw-aw-lee," followed by a question that led to a laugh. He was a master at playing the yokel.
