Where is this at? You can't even get a condo in cali for 300,000 dollars. Very smart of you to ask about the finance charges. It kills me that people fall for such schemes.

Excellent points!
I have adopted a strategy that has served me well for years now, actually. When it comes to buying virtually anything beyond a stick of gum, I announce right from the start that "Look, I'm a cheapskate, and I am just here to compare prices!" That seems to take the wind out of their sails quickly. And I
do compare prices, and always offer
less then even the lowest price - and it works like a charm...
