I really believe complacency is a bad quality -

and I really find truth in your statement: "Simple non-materialistic and non-greedy people are generally happier because the dark side is controlled and given no room to grow" ~

and finally, the practices you suggest at the end of your discussion here, is right on. It is a discipline ~ and before you know it - that's the way you will live...happy - free and more aware. ~ Done it and it works. ---

I agree. Knowing how the enemy (dark side) operates is crucial in defeating it. Just as in any war, one must know the enemy, his plans, his strategies, his targets. Thank you for sharing.
