I'm not sure if you are writing about yourself as the "I" in this poem or not. If so, there is a plant the leaves of which has helped many people overcome addiction to stronger chemicals.
It can also be addictive, but used in moderation it can at least get you off the hard stuff. If you are already on some other form of medication you should first consult with a herbal healer. There may well be one here on blogit.
Nature has all the remedies we need, we must just be willing to look and find.
