I could imagine a couple of stones or a dagger doing just as well
but the hypodermic needle is a little creepy!

Excellent question to ponder!
Although, they didn't have guns in those days...so, forget about that! Crosses do make excellent necklaces, however! And, since crucifixion was a common form of punishment in the Roman Empire of those days, it was inevitable...as was God's plan! Excellent post!
