Yes
A kimono and a hakama. Hakama is usually what men wear but women in education wear it for graduations too, teachers, adult women graduates, and those in educational administration.

Wonderful picture's KaBooM. Your son looks so happy and proud, and so do the parents. Yes, you certainly do stand out in a crowd there.

I love the picture of the teacher. Beautiful! Is that a kimono she is wearing? I know so little about the Japanese culture even though my son who was stationed there when in the Navy has told me so much.

Kaboom
Really great pictures! J is a very cute kid, and so is Mom (well, not a 'kid' exactly, but you know what I mean, lol!) And Dad looks nice! Too bad E wasn't there, but maybe some other time! And congrats to J, of course! So how many years of high school does he have now? Six?

Congrats to J!
I like that they make a big deal out of the elementary graduation--it's a big milestone in a kid's life, and should be celebrated!
And I loved seeing your red hair glowing like a beacon! Awesome pictures of you and the family
