Mr Dr has prescribed all kinds of things
But not Xanax or klonapin. Right now I'm on lithium, lamictal and I just started on--gosh the name of the medicine just slipped out of my head--absomething. Abilify, that's it. Hasn't done a thing so far but I've only been taking it two days.

Hello Jeff
Has your doctor mentioned what causes your anxieties? for example: phobia (work related), obsessive compulsive thoughts (dissatisfaction at work), panic attacks (related to work environment). and has she prescribed Xanax or Klonopin to help you cope while you find a way to gradually face the problem and work it out? Perhaps, trying hypnosis would help control your negative thoughts and introduce positive ones. It's a slow process and costly but at least proactive. Persevere, you will find a solution.
