He may be permitted, Wiley. You know why they like him, don't you? If you don't, I can't explain it here, because this is a family show...

Sheep's eyes? I think I'd rather go with the UN's recommendation and eat grasshoppers, Kabu! Oh, and I have read it, and will be off for my workout shortly...

Re: I have to wonder what movies they will feature.
Good question, Whacky! Krisles suggested Lassie reruns, but I think dogs are out. Maybe a documentary on camels...

Re: Nautikos
I don't know about Lassie, Krisles - Muslims aren't much into dogs...

Re:
Are you suggesting the chefs are watching porno flicks when they're cooking, Auslander? You think that's why their cuisine is somewhat - spicy?

Re: Funny thing about repression.
LOL, Pat, you're right! Of course, the 'forbidden fruit' takes on different forms: when you're a kid it's a melon, when you're an adult it's an apple...

I don't know why, but I just flashed on a Jerry Lewis film fest and Lassie reruns going over really big there........

How much more dishonest can they get? I'm sure all the big chefs have colour TVs looking at movies all the time (and the women would not be in burka in these "movies"). Never cease to amaze!

Naut
I would want all knives, rocket launchers and other various and sundry items of mayhem confiscated at the door. I would not want to be in the dark with a crowd of body parts choppers.

Nautikos, I think Pat_B and Saul_Relative have pretty much said it all.

maiming and executions, Naut.  My favorite part of this story -- movies are banned because they are a waste of time.  You live in a desert, Abdul !!  After you've filled the canteens, what the hell else have you got to do?  So, park the f**king camel, pull out the portable DVD player, and watch "The Waterboy" or "The Perfect Storm".

Funny thing about repression.
It makes ordinary, normal human bodies and activities seem so exotic and glamorous, so tempting. That melon we swiped in a midnight raid on Mr. Clark's melon patch tasted much sweeter than the one we bought at his roadside stand. :)  Why deny and discount what the good lord put here for our use?
