I love the abstractness of this writing.
Maybe it's revealing my lack of education, but I don't think I've seen this style anywhere else. Talk about taking advantage of the white space... or, in writing that would be reading between the lines.  Nice!

Acknowledgement and acceptance are the first steps towards control. I think this is true for many things in life, addiction included.

Keep writing (and rewriting, and writing again...). It takes time, but you'll get there

I hope things work out with your book.
If we had control over it, I don't think you'd be able to classify it as an addiction.
