Strongly written my friend. Sad part is what you say is true. Sadder part, knowone wants to hear. Just open one's ears. That's all one can do, great job, we try.

This says so much and from the beginning, reminding one to not bury their head in the sand, to wake up...this is a very potent, strong poem and I appreciate the shaking and moving of my poet's heart. Yes, it's a darkened, bruised world we live in today but, I just pray and hope that after the shadows, the light that actually exposes shadows - will shine on in through dirtied and tainted breaks ~ Elyse
