Re: Bluehands, I've done my part. I have NEVER owned a car.
I don't even drive. I don't have a license. I live in the city. I've ALWAYS lived in cities and either walked (my health is great) or taken public transportation. Gas prices only effect me when they drive up the costs of everything else.

Re: Soul_Builder, but the point is the SUPPLY is not
restricted. Like the Saudis pointed out, there is PLENTY of oil. It's that it's value is pegged to a plunging dollar...so the price has to rise. That's called inflation. It has nothing what so ever to do with supply. Bush is just trying to get you to think this way so you don't blame him for the problem.

Re: But Sam444
I have to inject a little humor into my writing about it or it makes me crazy.

this could go on for ages. if you want things to change then you have to convince your friends/family/people yo uknow to simply DO NOT buygas. period. no excuses. once enough people do that things have to change. but we are too afraid to hold out...to much in fear of our jobs, and our bills. we have to hold out on buyong it is the only thing they will respond to.

If anything, they are restricting supply by war! Oil companies are making more profits now. Why would they want their hirelings to change that?

Excellent analogy! The ones at the top are laden with greed!  sam
