Babe... I am disabled. I spend a great deal of time in a wheel chair. I am learning archery, am the baronial and canton webministers and the herald for my canton. Age doesn't mean anything. Get involved. If you are willing to participate then the people in the group will help you find a way to play a part in the action.

theres an SCA chapter in St. Louis

held meetings in our church's parish hall for a while

knew a few members

attended some hand to hand events and saw the election of a duke or baron or whatever.

too old to fight myself

Tom and I were married at The Feast of St. Andrews which is blessedly held in December... no reflective dics needed

been there -- Kooka goes there almost every year -- he got married there.  it was 100o that year -- i was wearing knight's costume w/reflective discs -- kept me cool -- saw the jousts -- cool.
