Jeff Healey
Strat,
I miss all the great blues players when they'll be playing no more. Have you heard the early work of Fleetwood Mac? They were a top knotch blues band! Sadly, blues wasn't where the money is and they sold their souls to become millionaires. Our loss and their monetary gain. I bet they still play some really good stuff when its just them, noodling around, tipping a few beers.

That's a great tune, Shelly.
Hiatt's version is pretty cool, too -- should be -- he wrote it. But Healy did make it his own. He will be missed.

Yeah, TK -- I don't know how widespread the news got.
It was all over the Canadian press -- that's where he was from. And I think it made the wire services. He was one of the greats.

strat, I was one of those who did not know him. I do now. After reading your post and checking out all of the online videos of him I can say with confidence that he definitely made an impression on his world. He was so young to go so soon.
