and parables and proverbs, when subverted to individual interpretations, can mean just about anything to anyone. Intent of the message, the intent of the writer, and the context of the message is far too often misdirected, obfuscated, twisted, or entirely eliminated. It is the height of ignorance to claim that all Muslims (or Christians or Hindus, etc.) are evil. It is the elimination of this ignorance of other religions and cultures that would go far in promoting a more peaceful, tolerant world. Idealistic and contrary to human nature? Not so. All it takes is a willingness to learn and an attempt to understand others for who they are...
