Re: I can remember

There you go Kaboom, I don't even know the right name for 8tracks! And I've never seen a record player, except for in the movies!

Ohh, what I wouldn't give for a 70's camero! If I won the lottery, a classic muscle car (or 2) would be my first purchase...Hemi Cuda, here I come

You're right--times really are rollin'! Even in my few short years on this earth, technology has grown in leaps and bounds. MP3's, blue-ray disks, laptops...not to mention the cellphones, which also act as a computer/daytimer/music player/camera/TV...I'm a child of technology, and I still can't keep up with it all

Re: Sira890

Wiley, talk about a small world! My aunt live about 20 minutes out of Charlottetown, and my eldest cousin lives right in the city proper. I spent most of my childhood summers roaming the island, and Mark and I plan on retiring there--hopefully sooner rather than later!

Thanks for reading

I can remember
a time without computers, cell phones, when I joined a record club and listened to LPs on a record player, and when a walkman casset players were the rave, those were the good 'ol seventies, to me those were the good 'ol days!  8track players were all the rave and if you had a camero and a 8track you were pretty cool!!  Cd's came out when I was in college...oh the times are a rollin'!!!
