somebody needs to get a photo of the guy -- certain people with contacts can get a drivers license photo from DMV -- or state ID photo even.

our building is secured with key cards and we do have security officers, and I wouldnt know the guy if I saw him, only contact was on the phone

it's obvious
i've seen similar situations
whoever it is that needs to handle it needs to see that this individual gives the same complaint about all contacts there --
no recording of calls? if not in the past, then in the future -- so that this individual's conversations can be seen as rantings.
then find a good photograph of the individual and make sure he doesn't enter the building.

Good morning. I say never give anyone an edge on you. You became venerable when you agreed with him. I would only agree to forward complaints like that as it was forwarded to you. Anyone coming in anger is looking for a fight. Keep your ammunition in your silo. sam

It surprises me how people can take things so far! I have been in retail for almost eight years! It was good of her to tell you what was going on. So that you could maybe handle it differently in the future. Although I don't think she should have pulled you in to the office then another room to tell you all this. Is it close to a full moon? I always ask that when things start going a little crazy.
