- Go to Is Loss of Manufacturing Jobs the President’s Fault?
we certainly are moving away from manufacuring jobs -- or are we?
we are gaining more fry cooks and counter help at fast food restaurants
but fry cooks are manufacturing jobs.
but look at small towns, where people depended on minimum wage jobs such as garment making and shoe manufacture.
it's easier and more profitable to set up a sweat shop in Malaysia where people get maybe $2/day and no social security or other such bothersome things than to give people here in the U.S. a decent wage and benefits
I take it you are against givine people a decent wage and benefits. I wouldn't be surprised if you were. I am still convinced that you are a mouthpiece for corporate America.
"writeroflight" indeed. You know what I call you.

It's an old politicians trick
She didn't say Bush was responsible for those job losses, but she implied it.
