Re: Sira
Thanks Mac!
I don't know, and I'm not all that concerned--it wasn't about her

I like your 'Sira-style' payback. Of course your sister will have to find out about it, won't she?

Re: Sira890
Heeheehee!
You sound just like my Dad. He suggested moving and/or changing their phone number, and "forgetting" to mention anything to my sister.
Sorry to hear you have a less-than-appreciative kid, but hopefully you have at least one good one to spoil you
Thanks for reading!

Re: Dani sounds like she has a little growing-up to do...
Naut,
She has a lot of growing up to do. But then, Dani has always been a bit behind the eight-ball. Even though it's been a rough week, I think living on her own will be a good experience for her. And Karma has already given her a swift kick in the rear--the new roomie treats Dani the way Dani used to treat my parents! She's not enjoying life, now that the shoe is on the other foot

Re:
Dinner was the least I could do for them!
I think most kids learn to really appreciate their parents, especially when they're all grown up, living on their own, and forced to wash their own laundry! Don't write them off yet--I'm sure you'll be treated to all sorts of dinners

How thoughtful of you to treat your parents to a quiet Sunday dinner. I hope to be the recipient of such kindness from my own children someday. (I'm not holding my breath)
