uh, thanks, I think! Most of the time I'm either scared out of my mind or too concerned about getting the horses to safety to think of anything else. After all is said and done, I'm usually ready to wet myself, or something else equally humiliating! My husband is the true horse person in the family. I think the horses are usually scared of him when he raises his voice!

What an intense situation. I am amazed at the bravery of you and your daughter ~ I was so engrossed in your account here that I wanted more, wanted to know when did he finally quit screaming? How is your daughters hand after being struck by the horse? Wow...I tell you I applaud and stay amazed at the wonderful way you handle horses.

I was into this chase. I remember when my sons quarters got loose. A frenzy until it over. The poor horse but I tell you the peace of mind knowing they are safe outweighs anything. Except of course a mended fence. I am happy it worked out! sam
