That is why my social studies in high school ditched the history books
Instead, we used a variety of shorter, topical books presenting the various views with debates and Socratic dialogs in class.

The causers of the problems push their own kind of history! They need to hide their tracks! The real historians have to peddle their stuff behind the scenes because their lives are at risk! My 2 cents of truth!

There are times I have gone outside the U.S. to get books to find the truth. Especially before 1950 and regarding slavery! sam

You make a very good point, and I do think there's always a bias among
hsitorians...It's important to be objective when writing history, but I wonder how many really are?
