I certainly needed a poem like this today. It is difficult to know where to start to laud your work. The message, imagery are in full view. I think it is critical to read this poem at least.  two times. The depth is what one picks up on the second read. BRAVO!!  sam

This is an excellent piece of work Ash! When I was working with survivors/
clients-we used to use visualisation techniques-a great deal! They do work-very well indeed! Thaks for sharing this. Chris.

Ash,
that kind of meditation I have used in the past.  I helped me get past my addictions and changed my unhealthy thought processes.

Re: Soul, do you think your explaining it briefly in simple terms might hel
Its a basic tool in meditation for beginners! The light, sun or flame is visualized within usually in the third eye region but it can be placed anywhere: in the solar plexus or site that needs healing. You can add qualities to it to aid in healing of body or head. You can immerse your awareness in it until it is all that exists. You can gradually expand it and view it chasing the darkness away as it grows! You can expand it so that it forms a protective bubble. There are many permutations of this kind of visualization. You can breath in and see the air going to injured areas healing as it goes. etc etc! Shakti Gawain has an interesting book on CREATIVE VISUALIZATION. The trick is to see the desired internal change as having manifested as the light bathes the body from the inside out!!!

wow!
I was really impressed with the way that you integrated so many words with ending sound of "ion"  (sounds "SHUN")   very clever, and a great message!  I always enjoy reading your posts, Ash!
