I donate small amounts to a 2 or 3 charitable organizations for reasons...
one, they need any donations that can garner; two, I don't want greed to get me. More importantly, I put my family's needs ahead of my own...and they are adults now. Yes, we need to take care not to injure others...especially since there are so many who injure others with ne'er a second thought, only their own gain. Your post is insightful, as usual.

...and a most plausible reason why human-kind has become less caring and tolerant of each other; why crime has becomes rampant--the soul needs proper nurturing to retain and maintain it's "light" existence. My poem, "...and FADE OUT," expresses,in short, what you have written. Thank you.
