A whole week of Friday's--sign me up for that calendar!
Back when I was working downtown, I used to lose track of time every now and then. I'd wake up on Wednesday, convinced that it was Friday. The first part of my day was glorious, filled with sweet anticipation. And then someone would pop my happy bubble, and remind me that it was still only mid-week. Needless to say, the last half of the day was much less enjoyable!

Banff, Kananaksis, Canmore--they're all beautiful! We're very lucky to live so close to the wild beauty of the mountains. On the other hand, when we're suffering through winter days and the temperature is in the -40's, I'd trade the fresh mountain air for a bit of sunshine and clear roads!
Montreal to Vancouver--that's a heck of a drive, but a great way to see the stunning vastness that is Canada.

Ahhh, the joy of a clean house
Keep in mind though, I don't have kids running all about to mess things up...I'd trade a clean house for one that's messy, but full of love, laughter, and the pitter-patter of little feet!

Friday, late afternoon,
the high point of the week! The anticipation of the joys of Friday evening and Friday night, that golden stretch of Saturday still ahead in it's fullness, the rainy and forlorn Sunday afternoon's shadow still held at bay...If I could have a wish, I'd wish for a week of Fridays...

Oh I enjoyed Banff the many times I drove west over the years. I drove Montreal to Vancouver for 18 years, servicing and selling printing equipment. Enjoy your weekend luv.
