A Christian minority
Good video.  Sad but true too many radicals out there.  Not enough loving, accepting, and gentle side religions are there?  I don't fit in to any big organized religion out there, so I just do my thing.  Look forward to further discussions on these topics though, keeps me grounded.  There are a few of us on here that respectfully just disagree.

kooka_lives -I don't live in the bible belt but I have endured some of this
We've seen it here right on this site. Who will ever forget the un-named blogger who made it his mission to harrass anyone who did not believe in his God? We also see continuous references to the "atheists" on this site who do nothing but disparage Christianity by a good number of people that don't feel it necessary to reciprocate the same considerations they feel they are entitled to. This type of ostracism is the very reason why church and state must always remain separate.

kooka...crap. My slow ass computer won't play it. And I LIVE in the
bible belt.  I get this ALL the time, (because I'm stupid and open my big mouth) when I'm asked what religion I am.  "You don't believe in God?!"  Ugh.  Trying to explain to stupid, not ignorant, assholes that just because I do not believe in religion in general, and just choose to be spiritual and close to God in that way, it doesn't mean I do not believe in God at all.  Some are so ridiculous they actually accuse me of worshipping Satan...  Has there been any studies to determine if actual inbreeding contributes to the southern stupidity of religious beliefs?

I agree 100% re: the "bible belt"................."Deer Hunting With Jesus" by Joe Bageant has a chapter petaining to the religious fundamentalists in the south. It's a good read. I am happy to live in a city where I have NEVER felt threatened because I am a non-believer.
