Great post!
There is also something to be said -- and not symbolic -- for scaling a 3000 ft. mesa in Mexico, while the rain beat so heavy it almost left bruises. In other words, we had an exchange: The clouds swallowed us; we swallowed the clouds. Nature's balance. joab
