I apologize if my previous comment was disrespectful. I don't agree with your reasons for leaving, but I do respect your choice. The last time I left blogit. I left because I started receiving a lot of junk e-mails. blogit was the only recent change I had made, so I jumped to a conclusion. Recently, I decided the quality of writing that I can read and the comaraderie here is more important than the perceived drawbacks. I do hope you change your mind. Your writing often gives me something to think about. For a writer, that is better than candy!

your path; as you know although I haven't always agreed with your views I have followed what you had to say seriously because you are heartfelt in your conviction and have learned a few things too. THough I did not know you long I admired your writing ability and sincerity. I am too sorry to see you go and can only hope you will be back some time in the future. Sorry to see you are leaving..

I am a newbie...and I will be reading up on the things you wrote, as well as the comments left you. This is definately going to sound like a line, but have we met? I guess I'll read on and see. I do not proclaim to be psychic or any other such thing, but I must admit that when I saw that your name was Dave, I automatically thought of a man that saved my life in more ways than one. His name is Dave, and he became my spiritual teacher-master. He moved away 3 or so years ago, and I practice and meditate on all things he openend my heart to. My heart was in a dark place. I was tricked by the dark side, as you said. And "MY" Dave used top say the same thing....how interesting. I'm off to read more, and I look forward to it, with an open mind. I am sorry that people were negative and unkind to you.

Blogit is here for us to vent, to express our feelings, and give information to those that seek it, there is too much crap that goes on in the world that most of us need a place to just be ourselves and try to excape the world that is depressing, children killing children, wars and battles fought in politics. I have read, as you know, very little of what you have written, because when I do try to read it I feel myself shutting down, its too deep and more depressing to read. I very seldom read or listen to the news as I don't need to be brought down by the negativity and feel you thrive on it and you hold on to the past, in which we all have our crosses to bear all though some crosses are heavier than others. We try not to carry them with us every where we go. Good luck to you Dave, I have felt we had a friendship that was somewhat unique (love/hate). Rest and clear the cob webs and maybe coming back here will be more rewarding then you feel it is at this point.
