Outsourcing angers me to no end....
Last year my brother was working for a corporate bank. His position was made redundant because they deemed that it could be done for less in India - and to add insult to injury, my brother actually had to train the person who was going to take over from him! I wish legislators would do something about this and KEEP JOBS IN AMERICA!

I can't stand outsourcing!!
I HATE IT!! It is so annoying and I feel embarrassed when I have to keep saying, "I'm sorry, what was that?" Why should I have to apoligize by not understanding someone from a customer service rep where I purchased an item from my country?! I think it is an outrage. I actually cancelled a long time credit card I had because of this. I'll do it again and again if I have to. I shouldn't have to feel embarrassed to speak to someone that I spent a TON of money on a product; (supposidly made in the USA) in order to get support.

Great post.

I don't agree with Callista on her comment here. People of all ages complain--the younger ones are some of the loudest. And believe it or not, there are a lot of older people that go with the flow without complaining and just adjust to whatever comes along. There are complainers and there are those who don't in every age group.

but its the jobs that us Americans could feel and grow the economy in our country, not complaining stating a fact, they may think they are speaking English but its not American English, but the form they have been taught

We are living in a world that is becoming smaller and smaller thanks to
technology. Humans are not ready for this, our technology is moving faster than our social sciences and human evolution. How can we deal with the outsourcing of jobs to other countries when we can not deal with our black neighbors or gay neighbors or for that matter with our muslim neighbors. I can take that one step futher and say with the breakdown of families, if we cannot deal with our own, how can we hope to deal with people that need jobs as badly or perhaps even more than we do when they do not speak good english. To that i might add there are alot of americans that do not know english. Young people swing with changes, old people complain.

GAwd! Poor you, you got so many problems... I don't think I have had to ever call customer service except for a couple of times with my computer, I hope you resolved what you had to resolve and it will be smooth sailing from now on. About outsourcing, I think it sucks, American jobs should stay in America. We need them here and when companies go abroad to save money, they should think about the customers that give them the money to begin with and how they need the jobs they are giving away. TAke care of you
