Ummmmm.....I like all things smooth and warm and creamy......I just had some hot chocolate this morning.....in that styrofoam cup they have at work.....have to admit, I did think about the cup! But, you're right.....I'm having a nice warm
Biscotti Liqueur di Italia right now, in front of a fire.....they let us off
early!.....and it is H-e-a-v-e-n-l-y....but it is in a very nice little glass.......and it beats the hell out of the hot chocolate!

And I agree with both of you! But, I think the whole point of this little tale is when people are choosing.......they don't have to get hung up on choosing the outside...it's what inside that counts! While I think you two are off on the the importance of not forgetting that some are not so fortunate as to have much of an outside to start with? It's so great how these things get into those things and bring in thinking from all around.....I love Blogit! Thanks for reading!

I read this before on the internet, and it's a good metaphor. Still, I agree with CunningLinguist. The cup has to at least be good enough to hold the contents safely inside!

it is a great story
But some people only have one of those little wax paper cups they had in the nurse's office at school, and the hot chocolate is burning the hell out of their fingers. What a rip off! ;-)
