Thanks for the SWWETS and the comment. I try to use reason in all things. Research is the way to confirm/discard. Many wish to find out for sure on dying!!!

Thanks Jesse Jean! People have their own pet interpretations. The hindu Brahmins feel that they are wealthy because of good karma in the past. They will never believe their crookedness is responsible for wealth!!

You may be right! The videos were mostly of kids recalling their past lives. By age 5-7 they forget. Their evidence is available, with all the disputations. Death will surely tell us!! Thanks!

I have not argued against reincarnation. It makes sense as you indicated. But the devil is on earth too. As a rebel he is corrupting everything so much that what we are now, does not resemble what we deserve. For the devil, his boys and girls must occupy top spots!!!

Thanks ger musser! Reincarnation is Eastern philosophy. Hindus, Buddhists and their variants believe in it. Western people believe in it too. Dealing adequately with here and now takes care of all of that!!

Reincarnation seems logical in a world which has more than can be dealt with in a lifetime! Wait and see while reducing 'errors' is a good option! Thanks!

i try to be a buddhist
and i tend to believe in reincarnation. You make EXCELLENT points as always. The one part struck me about hey, ya only live once, go for it....People trample over people, like the animals that they are...And then they come back as bugs and are QUICKLY trampled.

ACTUALLY
It's the present that is most important. I think I have stated that.
However, I had seen a parapsychologist who told me I have an "old soul", meaning, of course that I have lived quite a few lives.
I wrote a short story once about a life of mine just before this one that I might have envisioned.

well i prefer to think there is just more than meets the eye in this universe. however, i know a man who thinks that only men, will get into heaven, since Man was supposedly made in the image of God. So what do we women do?? If we are killed instantly in a car crash, do we transform into a man before we go thru the gates of heaven or hell by osmosis???? I do believe in reincarnation, however, I do not believe we can change life forms. Sexes yes, life forms nah, although i have thought many a time how wonderful it would be to be a fly on a wall to see a face or hear a conversation. Interesting post. Thanks --- jesse_jean

Dear Soul, That was a great post , very interesting and a pleasure to read but, I am sorry to disagree with you in your conclusion. I think that re-incarnation makes perfect sense. Everything in our world, goes on indefinetely, converts to other forms but does n ot end. How can we even entertain the idea that our souls, which are the highest and most complicated form of energy will just go to waist. G-d made laws, laws of Nature that we all abide by, the conservation of energy is one of them. Would He had gone against his own rules? I do not think so. Would He have created all of this for us to just waste all we learned during our stay here? Anyway, I liked your reasoning even if I did not agree with it. :-)

From this, sounds like needs to be generous planning on the use of each
person's energy. I am not very schooled in this thinking. Is this Buddhism? or what religion?

Re-in
While I can see the utility of re-incarnation, especially for those who lose their lives at a very young age, I do not believe that it is a "normal" reality. Let's just say that, on this subject, I must log in as an Agnostic; I will wait and see.

Although I tend toward reincarnation, let's admit nobody knows for sure.
But, whether or not a post-life exists, the crux of the matter is to hold the life we know sacred and all life and all surrounding us.
In this manner, we will live a good life, harming less.

Reincarnation is Part of the Nazarene Teaching
Reincarnation used to be included in many of the old christian communities and was only late written out by the Roman editors of Truth to suite their own agenda. Have a look at this site:
