I find that if I have both hands on the wheel
it makes it easier to focus on the road. So for me having both hands on the wheel has an indirect benefit.

Totally Agree
If your mind isn't on the road, it isn't on the road. So whether it's text messaging or talking on the cell, it's where your attention is (or isn't) that matters. Doesn't matter if you're physically holding something to your ear.

The only time I drive with both hands on the wheel is
if I'm driving in bad weather.
