Re: FineYoungSinger
TAPS:  thank you for this kind observation.  I hope the remaining 13 have the same impact!

I think this is a "station" we all experience (though we may not call it that) at times in our lifel--troublesome choices, wrong decisions that haunt us as long as we live.   You have dealt with this in a way to minister to us all.

Re: heaviness wieghs upon your deeply reflective shoulders....

hey twomany---thanks for reading, and for this comment!  the heaviness isn't particularly mine; but as I read the scripture that revolve around each station, certain ideas and feelings are stirred, and these feelings and ideas become the object of my focus.

I have a deep appreciation for the prayers and meditations of the chruch; I just think they need to be updated out of that pre-Vatican II mindset.  John Paul II added a set of mysteries to the Rosary, and wrote an alternate version of the Stations of the Cross.  We should be making these forms of prayer our own, and build upon what he started.

ANYWAY---that's enough of my opinion on the matter.

Re: Pray on dear lady, you have just answered a prayer of my own with this
Chyrlann, you just made my entire day!!  THANK YOU for this affirmation: in turn, you've given me exactly what I needed to complete this project.  Blessings to you, dearest one!

Re: very realistic sentiment Fineyoung...........
mermaid---fear is a very common experience.  Faith is what helps us overcome fear--giving us something to attain outside of the realm of majority rule.  I hope you enjoyed praying this piece.  It, along with the other 13 I'm writing, will be used this Lent, and hopefully will be published for national distribution next lent.

heaviness wieghs upon your deeply reflective shoulders....

or so it seems.

very nice and thank you for sharing the depths of your soul and your inner  thoughts, that lead to such work.

Pray on dear lady, you have just answered a prayer of my own with this
prayer and reminder. I have been tormented by someone I have been dependent upon for security who lacks in integrity. I have been working my way towards a financial safety net so I can release myself from the situation. It has been a gnawing, tormenting endeavor. I know every pure and good thing is waiting behind another blessed door once I close the door on this iniquity. Blessings dear lady

very realistic sentiment Fineyoung...........

PRAYER: Lord Jesus, So many times I let my own fears cloud my judgment.  I fear the opinions of others, worrying that they won’t accept me, or worse, will ridicule me.

most of us feel this way my love...

it's natural...

 we can only remain positive

at the end of every negativities dear...

have faith.

Re: That's quite lovely,
strat, thanks so much!  It's a relatively new piece, and I was a little unsure as to whether or not I should move forward with it.
