Thanks Sam! Prayers maybe 'thanks and praise' or 'requests'. When we get answers, the communication is complete. This is how the efficacy of prayer is tested. Thanks and praise... is the best prayer. In this you ask only for communion with him. Prayer for guidance is next in order of importance. Making requests for things and healing etc for oneself and others is the common form prayer takes. Why ask like this when a request for guidance will suffice? If He guides then you connect with solutions while having a relationship with God at the same time!!

I think prayer is something everyone should do. But definately not enough.
You could pray about anything. Your actions speak loud. Even your thoughts
play a big part.
