Re: I think I've got one of those little black holes
Funny, Sira. One of my first cars had one of those as well, and that was a while ago. I guess it was ahead of its time! Mind you, it could have been just a hole on the floor...

Yeah, Pat, not to mention (to use one of the dumbest expressions in the English language, lol) the billions of neutrinos that are zipping right through you as you're reading this...

You're on to something now. So long as they did not reproduce when allowed together. Everybody would want at least one. Good to read you.

I think I've got one of those little black holes
in the back seat of my car. I put stuff back there, and it's gone! 2 weeks ago, I dropped a loonie down between the seats. It rolled into the back seat, and hasn't been seen since! I've lost countless lighters, pens, and even a bag of gummie bears!

But, would it remain tiny, Nautikos?
We would not want for you, while you were studying, to be sucked into that tiny hole yourself.

I would love to have a personal black hole at my disposal......kind of a delete key for stuff and, heck, let's go all out.....for mental garbage, too....there's just too much crap out there....hey, that's it!....we need black holes to be the landfill's for all the technological garbage we're creating, most expecially the media type....I mean it's around forever once it's out there and that's a real problem.....black holes could be the answer....just thinkin' outloud.....

They've discovered a million things in the past ten years or so
about quarks and black holes and subatomic particles and light waves and the web and string theory and... more than they discovered in the last million years or so that life has been evolving on earth. I'm still amazed by electricity and how it flows like water and burns like fire and turns on light bulbs or makes computer keyboards respond to fingers and put words on a computer screen here that can be read where you are. These are the days of miracles and wonders, to quote Paul Simon.
