Thanks, Damon! We love the horses, too! My daughter went riding today and despite not having ridden since Christmas, she looked really good!

I love horses!
I love horses and used to ride them quite a lot in my younger days, but I haven't been on one in years. I guess the last time I rode one must have been in my 20s shortly after getting married my wife and I went riding, but neither of us has riden since that day so far as I can remember.
They do know how to get what they want or at lest try to get their way. I love your story.

I'm no tmuch of a rider, but I do jog horses, sit on a little jog cart behind them and have had similar experience. Horses are so smart and can be so determined!

I'm not a farm person, but we used to go horseback riding in the mountains of Colorado and in the Ozark Mountains of Southern Missouri. I will never forget one horse who was determined to scrape me off of his back. He kept leaving the trail, no matter what I did to control him, to try to rub me off against the tree trunks.
