I fully agree, Sira. I was being slightly facetious in my reply to Pat...

God Bless the Scientific mind

They're so creative in their methods to find new fuel sources.

Incidently, I think the fact that some of the major oil companies are exploring alternate fuel sources shows insight, and forward thinking. They're not sticking to the old "tried and true" methods, but have chosen to take a relatively proactive approach, to help in the search for new practices. And, of course, they're ensuring that they have a place in the new markets--but they're business-men, you can't fault them for not wanting to go broke...

In Alberta, the wave of the future will have a huge impact on our economy. It's necessary for the oil producers to stay current, and find a way to keep raking in the dough. Without them, more than half the province would be unemployed.

Re: Add some wind power, a couple solar panels, and the board of
Pat, the problem is Shell is already into the wind and solar panel business, and Exxon will be too, if it isn't already - they're still gonna rake it in...

Corbin
There's little chance of that, as long as we all produce enough 'hot air'...

Wiley
One of the subsequent comments tells me there may be a hitch, and it has nothing to to with the connection between the bike and the sidecar...

Add some wind power, a couple solar panels, and the board of
directors at Exxon and the other big oil companies will have to live with less than record-breaking profits. Maybe then the rest of us won't have to cut back and do without because we can't afford the cost of gasoline.

Now I hope that works and I'll buy a motorcycle with sidecar and really cut costs.
