Azur
I think it's important to keep your delicious secret bubbling inside. The more people who know about it, the less it is yours. Not only that, letting others know makes you feel as if you've finished it, and may make you abandon it.

It can be a real gamble, Azur...
...although it sounds as though you have a wonderful friend to share your writings with. I've just recently let some people read mine and the encouragement is wonderful. I'm just not sure mine will go anywhere....

It's not just what you're saying here, it's the way you say it. Confidence
is blooming. I know you got a morale boost from the "riveting" review from an honest friend, your words are almost dancing. Even better is the sense that beneath the modesty and the tiny hints of insecurity, you knew it was good! Cool.

I have trouble stopping to use spellcheck, let alone delaying release!
Good luck!

Azur
You have some good reasoning going here and have made choices that seem right on.

I agree with your decision my dear....

showing parts of your piece misleads the whole context...I dont show mine until its done and fully studied (at least for my short novels or maybe novels)...you are very keen on your passion Azur and its a positive attitude...good work.
