sam444 - that is exactly the point - it is what legends are made of
In this case the reasons for maintaining, nurturing and promoting the legend are obvious. It's all about making a few bucks. Thanx for stopping in.

Kabu - Canada has the market cornered on monsters, every province has their

own and a number of smaller regions have some as well.

Where the Jonesville monster (I changed the name of the town) is rather obscure, we have some more famous ones. The "Susquatch" or the Canadian version of the Himilayan Yeti, is probably the most famous. "Ogopogo" or our answer to the Loch Ness monster, comes in a close second . . . check out Ogopogo HERE  . . . whenever you need a few tourist bucks and you live in a country with wide open expanses of bushland or lakes, you can simply invent a monster or two. They are better than Disneyland for bringing people in and don't cost much to whip up.

is this Canada's answer to the Lockness Monster or is it real like our
Bunyip in Australia. People are sceptical about that too but my Mum told me about the Bunyip when I was little, and she wouldn't lie to me would she?
