Thanks! I definitely agree about the carnal people! They are on the wide road, easily found by everyone. It takes distinct pursuit of the narrow to find it, and even more dedication to stay on it. Then, it becomes like second nature!

Interesting thoughts here.  I read recently that the average American spends 36 hours per year stuck in traffic.  For some reason that popped into my head while I was reading your post.  That's kind of how I picture the "wide road".   I think that it is hard for people to become spiritual because they love the carnal world.   Many are afraid that they will miss out on something, or have to give up something in order to be spiritual and so they try to sit on the fence, to be "luke warm" instead of "hot or cold", spiritual in words but carnal in deeds and in truth.

Thank You! Thats a good approach. Do not let your right hand know what the left is doing! People will do as programmed. They go for shadow not substance. They go for superficial once it looks or feels good. Stay with your core values!

Re: Re: Yeshuan
Yes, that does clarify your point.  I have never consider that take on how we miss spirituality.  I have always consider the organization getting in the way of the individual.

Re: Thank you SB for a very interesting and educational post.....
Thanks Mariaki! The spirituality that is touted today is mostly a public relations thing! You know, the extroverted type of 'smooch-smooch, we're saved' type of groupthink. This is just the ego/dark side seeking attention and getting it! The real thing has SILENCE and introversion as its center. Spiritual people dwell in themselves except for their worldly responsibilities. They seek what is essential for survival and then dwell within! This is renunciation! They know that if they tried to set up empires their consciousness would be overcome by the plethora of materials and relationships, and so they would lose their peace and become troubled!!!

Re: Yeshuan
I'm not sure I quite understand. Christ taught by teachings and example. Organized Religion grew out of political need and is still allied to politics. The tribes I speak of here are not biblical tribes, but todays groups /colors which take part in the games. And they can be found everywhere, even in churches and temples! They are busy trying to invent religion so it does not conflict with their games! Hope this helps!!!

Thank you SB for a very interesting and educational post.....
I think most people are not sure what being "spiritual" really means and are therefore confused; the good book explains it all

Yes!
One of Christ's goals, I believe, was to rid us of the limitations of our own efforts at self-justification.  Organized religion is an outgrowth of these efforts.  If I understood you correctly, organized religion is one of the "tribes of the establishment."

Re: Challenging Post
Thanks Yeshuan! Spirituality  takes a lot of intelligence  in this era. While Biblical advice is good, it is more relevant to the society of then! They never had to live with fear of global catastrophe or evil this powerful! Besides, this is the time of  great learning and understanding! More tools to deal with the devil !!

Re: Dave this is a difficult post. I think that I'm a spiritual person but
Most of your questions have to be answered by you! Spirituality is between you (the spark) and God! The spark needs not much work. Extricating itself from the deception or treachery of the Dark side/shadow, is the biggest hurdle! There are others! Hope  this helps!!

Re: Extremely taunting dear Soul_builder...
Thanks! I see the tribal thing because I am not in it, and I have suffered immensely at the hands of these tribes! I see what they are doing to themselves. I have my analytical mode which suggests not frailty but an inability to battle the dark side or even collusion in one's own demise!! There is more to come!

Challenging Post

It encourages one to think for themselves.  Take the efforts of others into consideration, but, make sure one stays on the narrow path.

To me, life is a progressive learning process.  We are all learning something, the question is, is it healthy or destructive?  My focus is learning how to love people where they are when our paths cross.  This is the way that I believe Christ lived His life.  His example is the one I choose to follow.

It is impossible not to try unless one is totally demonic! Old age and death give us a lot of soul-searching periods. Reincarnation facilitates the process! Thanks!

Dave this is a difficult post. I think that I'm a spiritual person but then
I read this. Am I just a clone, do I play the game? well I'm classed as an odd ball because I go my own way, I don't play follow the leader and I worship God in the way that works for me. But I'm off to sit in a corner now, suck my thumb, and ponder!

Extremely taunting dear Soul_builder...
amazing continuity with a strongly powerful ending...i do agree in most parts of this, I have "abstract horizon" 'Dark Serenity' and 'Cocktail" parallel to these P.O.V.'s...we all are humans subjected for frailty and vulnerabilities of both good and evil existence...everyone has tribal combination of both...but it's always a matter of rising above the dilemma of circumstantial holocausts that defines which side has higher density..."the good or the evil works." I love your spiritual values dear....

Just because it's difficult doesn't mean we shouldn't try for some sort of sprituality.

Interesting post.
