Reading this post, could have been mine...I too held on for far too long, held onto his car, bloodied my face and soul. It's over now. It's better now, but the scars are always there.

to be able to forget as i always say, you have to let go...talking about it helps unleash its haunting strap...i've been there on those horrible days with equally horrible man...but ive managed to submerge under water and surface with the same integrity...let it go...excess baggage is not necessary for starting anew...Go girl...you have the spirit, let it be your guide...your heart will follow suit....
