GOD NO!
I sincerely wish there were a God, but that would make life too easy. You see atheists don't take the path of least resistance, that's what religionists do. We don't give up thought and the attempt to explain existence and hand it to some supernatural force beyond this earth, that's easy, comforting and ultimately childish. We struggle in the face of the inexplicable, wbut we continue to explore within the limitations of our human intellectual abilities. It is better to say 'I don't know' rather that accept some fantastic man-made fiction to explain it all. God is comforting , but pretty unlikely.

Good point. In my youth I was told that If I didn't believe in God, why do I yell 'Oh God' when injured and in pain! Does one have to be totally denuded before God is admitted?
