Bless your heart! My husband kept his government job for years because of the insurance but downsizing had his name on the wall and he thought he'd try to go it on his own. My daughter's HGH (human growth hormone) runs $3500 a month but having to be a slave to a job to keep insurance is where she finds herself.

I have MS and was just approved for SS Disab./Medicare. I can't even begin to figure out how to use Medicare. I'm with you on the cost of meds. My weekly injection runs $1,300 each month, luckily me husb. has good ins. Zen

I'm sorry for your dilemma, Cee.....................
There has to be help out there for you. Two of my sisters get their medicare premiums paid and their medicine paid for from medicaid. Have you talked to them? I don't know how much money you have coming in, but based on the fact that Jay's income is sporadic, maybe they can help. It's worth a try. I, myself, have a huge medicine bill, but fortunately, I'm able to get it from the miitary. I know what you're saying. God bless.
