Re: mice and some such
Vogue, I have a hard time thinking of cats as anything but women! Moody, capricious, vain, forever grooming themselves...

Whacky, I don't think Corbin really meant that! I think it was just a slip of the nose...er, tongue...and thanks for the rose, especially welcome under the circumstances! And a special belly rub for =^..^=

TAPS, I can too, although I wouldn't mind a doggie, but Bubbles won't let me...

Re: Oh my...
Sira, do not disdain rodents! They're true survivors! They were here long before us, and will still be here long after we're gone, unless, of course, we keep messing up their love life and get them to sniff the wrong rumps, or whatever...

Re: LOL, Pat B....
Troosh! Frankly, I don't think we should laugh at Pat's genuine sadness over the the mice's dashed hopes for romantic candle light dinners, with oysters, a juicy filet mignon with a Chateau Margaux, and crepe suzette for desert, with some Veuve Cliquot, of course...and music, and holding hands across the table, and soulful gazing into one another's eyes - no we should not laugh at that, but cry...

Re: On the other hand, there's a new perfume out (maybe not so new)
Pat, I agree, it is inhuman! But then, that's what happens if you play God in the world of mice...

Oh my...

Naut, are you on a mouse kick this month?

First, it's mouse parts popping up in people's foods.

Now, we've got rear-sniffing rodents, and, as Pat so eloquently stated, unromantic copulation, all brought on by some scientific experiments!

I can't even begin to tell you how happy I am that butt-scents aren't a part of my mating ritual - I've smelt the things that Mark deals out, and I don't want my face anywhere near that area!

On the other hand, there's a new perfume out (maybe not so new)
that releases pheremones so a girl will be irresistible to the guys.  As for the missing organ on the female mice, you surprised me. I was not expecting some dot of brain tissue, but that essential male bit required for copulating. The whole thing is unconcionable: messing with mousie hopes and dreams and not a drop of wine or a rose petal, no Al Green on the stereo, no candlelight. It's inhuman!

And dogs......of all breeds......referring, of course, to canines and brown-nosers....well, I'm sure there are also some perverts.  Seriously, though.....it would seem that so much comes down to hormones....until ones reads certain poetry....or hears a beautiful sonata......
