I am so sorry.
You'll be in my prayers.

Re: Emotionally touching
Kayzzaman, I wrote this - in part - to relieve my own stress. Writing is a great pleasure and release for me.

Re: Cynthia
Seedlings, the overwhelming power of my feelings has shocked me. It is impossible to anticipate the death of a loved one and to be prepared for it. Indeed, even here on blogit it seems I have friends I never knew I had.

Thank you.

Re: Sorry to hear about your Dad, Cynthia....
Dear Ginnie, Your thoughts and words are most appreciated. We have discovered a lot about each other here on blogit. I do feel we are in a sense "friends".

My bags are packed. I'll be calling a cab to the airport in a few hours.

Cynthia
This was a beautiful portrayal of a mired of love and emotions for your loved ones. 'Dad's' are the hardest to let go of. I can't imagine, I don't want to. And so I wept as I read this post of yours. I shall pray for your strength, your fathers well being and your mother to have faith and stamina. You are a proud and strong woman, your courage seeps through your every word. There will be many to support you through this time.

Sorry to hear about your Dad, Cynthia....
...I know you've spoken about him before and his cancer.  It is strange about there being an appropriate time to die but perhaps the longer you spend with someone the harder it is?  I'm no expert on death although I've experienced two terribly sad ones in my life..and I think love and loss is real and runs painfully deep at any age.  It is tragic that your dad is in such pain...I'm sure it will be awfully hard for you to witness this.  You're in my thoughts and heart, Cynthia and I wish lots of strength over the next little while.  Certainly not an easy time....
