I agree, it
is rather obscure, and useless too, except for the discovery that one can actually stare down a frog, something I would never have thought possible...

Re: I shan't join you Naut, I have this irrational fear of frogs. Give me a
Kabu, dear, fear of frogs appears to be widespread! A lot of people seem to be more afraid of frogs, than for example rats and mice. And frogs are voracious, and will swallow mice whole...

I shan't join you Naut, I have this irrational fear of frogs. Give me a
snake to cuddle any day. But FROG IS SNAKE FOOD as far as Iam concerned.

Saul, I have tried to think about Thailand's place in the scheme of things, as you suggested, but haven't been able to decide on the things, or the scheme, for that matter...

Re: $90!
That's almost twice what I pay here, ginnie. But I like Maclean's. From a boring, insipid, oh-so-politically-correct rag it has turned into a lively mag that is not afraid to tackle delicate subjects. Quite apart from fun bits about mouse feet and frogs on motorcycles...

Interesting. The headline made me think we'd had an incident
of dating outside one's species, a chick bearing the offspring of a frog. Although, come to think of it, that's nothing really new. :)

How lucky can a frog really be? Think about it. Think about Thailand's
place in the scheme of things. If I were Thai, I'd pick another animal. Like that chicken, for instance.

I am sooooo relieved.......I started reading your blog expecting to learn of a frog who had given birth to a chicken. I mean, I know this magazine isn't the Canadian version of the National Enquirer, but you have to admit.......you do come up with some weird stuff....so, I was prepared for whatever you presented........
