I agree that we have to take care of ourselves with guidance, if i rely on
god or others to take care of me then what do i need my brain for. Being aware is the key, and i am learning to see what the world is really about, what people are really about, and learning how to deal with it all. Great posts soul, you help me so much. My life is better and my understanding greater.

Thank you Jo! It is really silly that we should have to bother with these things, but it is there and bad people do it! Control and conquest are their goals! I wish I could be in some tropical paradise sipping coconuts all day and not have to be ultra-aware!!! Got coconuts in Brisbane?

Pointing out the thorns that lay waiting for the innocent does not make me 'negative' (whatever you think it means)! It is done from a kind of caring that is not found a lot in western countries. Understanding me is beyond many people. That's good! Evil will always fail because they don't try to understand! Thanks for the concern!!

I lean on the teachings of the Bible and so appreciate that God's mercies are new every morning. I can start each day with a clean slate, not forgetting what mistakes I've already made but having learned from them. Instead of trying to run my own life, I acknowledge God and trust in him to direct my path. It is good to keep my eyes on God and let him take care of whatever evil would wish to bring me harm.
